Now it is also possible to Simulate Dalesa on NS2. However the current simulator neither approximates a realistic cache object distribution over nodes nor it does not follow a realistic churn model. However simulator could be quite extreme compared to reality, therefore simulated network will deteriorate faster than a real network.

We received a report on Dalesa P2P web cache from Nikhita Dulluri and Shruti Pathak on 8th May 2011. They have performed a performance analysis on Dalesa covering some of the key areas such as latency, number of HTTP/HTTPS packets sent/received, bandwidth saving and memory consumption.
